Painting, Community, and a Splash of Surprise at Emneth Central Hall
It was truly lovely to try out a new venue last weekend—and if you've been following along, you’ll know just how passionate I am about supporting my local community by hosting paint parties in village halls. There’s something undeniably special about gathering in these cozy, often overlooked spaces. They not only bring people together, but they also breathe new life into the facilities we pass by every day without a second thought.
💡 One of my favorite moments from my events? A lady who’s lived in the area for years told me she’d never stepped foot in her community hall—until our paint party! Now she’s planning to book it for her granddaughter’s birthday party. Winner! That’s what I call giving back through creativity.
This time, we set up shop at Emneth Central Hall, and what a delightful space it is! The bar was open, the layout was spacious, and the energy was fabulous. Every single person walked in saying, “I can't paint,” and “An owl and sunflowers? No chance.” But by the end of the night, those doubts were long gone.
🖌️ With a step-by-step guide from yours truly, each person proudly painted their own masterpiece—and what struck me was how uniquely beautiful every single painting turned out to be. Same theme, same instructions, yet each canvas was infused with personal flair. That, my budding artists, is creativity at its finest.

Whether you’re an experienced artist or simply curious, these paint parties are about more than just art. They're about connection, confidence, and community, and I can’t wait to bring that energy to another local hall soon.

Want to join me next time or host your own party? Contact me for details- I can come to you, with only a minimum of 4 people.
Fancy another social event? My next Paint party is at Nordelph Village Ha;; on 29th August..at 7pm
Let’s make some magic with paint and bring people together one brushstroke at a time. 🌻🦉
It is always great to go to one of Helen's paint parties. 😀
